Write for Almost Local

You do not need to be a journalist. We welcome pitches from people who know something useful, have an interesting experience or can offer a perspective our readers would value. Good pitches tell us:

1. What is the story?
Explain the idea in one or two sentences.

2. Why should someone care?
What makes it useful, surprising, funny or important?

3. Why are you the right person to write it?
Firsthand experience and subject knowledge both count.

Please pitch the idea before sending a complete long article unless it is already written.

Partnerships and collaborations

We are open to relevant collaborations with organizations, events, creators, and businesses serving Indian and South Asian communities in Europe. We are particularly interested in partnerships that are genuinely useful to Almost Local readers. Sponsored or commercial relationships do not determine our independent editorial coverage.
